To bring medical services and ministry to 2300 people takes prayer, planning, and more prayer. Every LWT employee, missionary, volunteer, and U.S. team member, brings something to the mix. All who participate are united under one banner, Jesus Christ, and that his gospel be heard.

Hot weather can’t keep the smiles from the faces of the people

Ayutla is a town that shares a border with Mexico, about 2.5 hours drive from our mission base of Quetzaltenango. And, being near sea level the setting is tropical, in the 90’s, with rain most days. Many of the U.S. team from southern states, fell right in with the climate while others, found it challenging to acclimatize. Even so, everyone’s focus was to serve the people, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
